Our Research
Our Research Projects focus on documenting the history of Pride across Canada.
Our Approach
Dedicated volunteer researchers meticulously document the history of Pride across Canada
Our volunteer researchers work year-round to uncover, verify, and preserve the history of how the Pride movement emerged and evolved in communities across Canada. Using interviews, archival materials, and partnerships with local historians, they ensure CPHS presents history that is accurate, inclusive, and rooted in lived experience.
Key Research Initiatives
Our team records interviews with individuals who have been integral to the Pride Movement in Canada. These stories enrich our virtual exhibits and research articles↗, and our understanding of how Pride evolved in communities across the country.
